NRH Radio operates under direct artist-to-platform licensing. Every spin is rights-cleared, every payout is traceable, and every artist retains full master ownership.
Rights Clearance
Every track in NRH Radio rotation is verified against our rights registry before it can be served to listeners. Only music uploaded directly by the rights holder — the artist — is eligible for radio play. No third-party aggregators, no grey-market uploads.
Per-Play Compensation
Artists are compensated at a minimum rate of $0.005 per qualifying stream from the NRH Radio Pool A. Qualifying streams must exceed 30 seconds of listen time and originate from non-flagged devices and IP addresses. Rates are reviewed quarterly and published in the governance transparency report.
Licensing Structure
NRH Radio operates under a direct artist-to-platform blanket license. By uploading music to NRH, artists grant a non-exclusive license for radio distribution. Artists retain 100% master ownership and may revoke radio rights at any time from their Studio dashboard without affecting their catalog or fan relationships.
Geographic Coverage
NRH Radio streams are governed by the jurisdiction of the listener. Artists are responsible for ensuring their music does not violate sample clearances, third-party agreements, or regional distribution restrictions. Disputed tracks are automatically suspended pending resolution.
Fraud Prevention
Our streaming integrity layer applies real-time fraud scoring to every play event, flagging bot traffic, stream farms, and IP clusters with anomalous activity. Excluded streams are logged for transparency but do not receive pool payouts. Artists can review their fraud audit report in the Studio.
Pool Distribution
Radio pool revenue is distributed monthly via the NRH settlement engine. Pool A (subscriber revenue) and Pool C (free listener ad revenue) are aggregated, the platform fee is deducted, and the remainder is split proportionally based on qualifying stream counts per artist. Full settlement history is visible in your Studio earnings tab.
