Can I change plans anytime?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time from Studio Settings.
What happens to my music if I downgrade?
Your music and fans are always yours. Existing releases above the lower tier's cap stay published; you just can't add new ones until you're back under the cap or upgrade again.
How is a SUPPORTER subscription split?
85% goes direct to you via Stripe Connect, 10% funds the streaming royalty pool (which begins distributing to artists once our ad-revenue layer activates — see below), and 5% is NRH's platform fee. On a $10 sub: $8.50 to you, $1.00 to the pool, $0.50 to NRH.
When do streaming royalties start paying?
The pool fills from day one — 10% of every SUPPORTER subscription flows into it. Pool payouts to artists begin once our advertising layer activates and adds the volume that makes per-stream payouts meaningful; we'll notify every artist the month payouts start. Until then, SUPPORTER subscriptions and merch sales are your two live revenue lines, and the pool keeps accumulating.
How do payouts work?
Payouts are on-demand from your Studio Earnings page, with a $50 minimum. SUPPORTER subs route to your Stripe Connect account in real time (no payout needed); for any balance held at NRH (merch margin, pool payouts when active), you request a withdrawal and it settles to your connected account.
What if I haven't set up Stripe Connect yet?
New SUPPORTER subs route to NRH temporarily, and we credit your 85% share to your withdrawable balance. Once you complete Stripe Connect onboarding, you can withdraw the balance — and all future subs settle direct to your connected account, instantly.
Is there a free trial?
Indie is free forever — most artists never need to leave it. Upgrade to Pro or Studio only when a specific cap (releases, SUPPORTER tiers, monthly applications) is in your way.
